Hellooooo everyone!
For all of you who may not know me, my name is Sophie, and I run Diamond In The Ruff Dog Training. I started my business in 2024 and, honestly, haven't really looked back since. I've learnt a lot over the last two years, but I also continue to learn and develop every day, not only as a dog trainer but as a business owner too.
As a dog trainer, I am passionate about providing the best care for the dogs I work with. Therefore, it's important for me to stay up to date with the latest science and studies. In my spare time, I am often listening to podcasts, watching webinars, attending seminars and reading books, all in the interest of dogs. When I read that back, it kind of sounds like I need to get some more hobbies! But what I'm actually trying to get at is that this frequently leaves my mind spinning with new ideas. That's where my new blog comes in!
Moving forward, I will be using this space to share the latest knowledge I gather from my hours of additional study on all things dog-related. I can't wait to write down my thoughts, findings and the things I'm passionate about, hopefully sharing useful knowledge with those of you who are lucky enough to live with a dog, or even luckier, like me, to get to work with them.
